Aero Academy 2026 Update 7 - Camp 4 Learns the Fundamentals

Our young aviators have become students of the skies! Our group has been learning the fundamentals of flight in the air over the past few weeks, including how to fly straight and level, turn, climb and descend, as well as general airplane operating procedures. Our aviators have progressed well through camp so far and have been sharing what they've been doing with each other during our Friday morning briefings and ground schools. During our ground schools, we have been covering many important ground topics that our aviators will continue to use as they develop into pilots, such as regulatons, category and class requirements, what flying offers, as well as aerodynamics and aircraft systems - unveiling many of the secrets behind what it takes for safe and efficient real-world flying. Our young aviators in Camp 4 have begun learning how to recover from stalls and fly ground refrence maneuvers - which teaches them how to recover from being too slow and correct for wind while in the air.
